The Red Cat
THE PLACE
The Red Cat has finally started brunch service after 15 years of only lunch & dinner service. Upon entering, you'll notice an interior decorated in red and white colors, lanterns hanging from the ceiling, and art on the walls-- as there should be. This is Chelsea, a.k.a "art central, after all. The Red Cat is conveniently located next to the High Line too, for a little pre or post-brunch stroll.
What to Eat
Chef Bill McDaniel has created a drool-worthy menu, with picks like Huevos Rancheros, served with red and green chili, black beans, and fried egg, as well as Cornflake Crusted French Toast with fresh berries and whipped cream. The Fresh Tropical Fruit Salad is a nice starter, as it's made with mint, lime and ginger syrup for an extra zing.
What to Drink
We suggest adding a little booze to your brunch with a round (or two) of Calabrian Fizzes, created with bergamot puree, honey liqueur, and champagne.
Reservation Policy
