Sotto13 greets you with a boisterous, cheerful atmosphere, and it is one of my favorite brunch spots with a prix fixe. The restaurant exudes an exciting energy that's perfect for a New Year kickoff. I love the high ceilings, giant skylight, and Italian vibes.
WHAT TO EAT
Sotto13 provides a "social Italian brunch" where the focus is on sharable plates for the table and fun cocktails. It is $35 per person, served family-style and full table participation is required. The menu includes a variety of brunch items and wood-fired pizzas. I suggest staying with standard brunch fare-- starting with the French Toast, (Rosemary Foccacia, Brown Butter, Berry Compote, Vermont Maple Syrup) and moving onto the classic Cacio e Pepe (Soft Scrambled Eggs, Cacio Cheese, Cracked Black Pepper). For something more unique, try the Jumbo Lump Crab Scramble (with Tomato, Fennel, Mascarpone, & Lemon).
WHAT TO DRINK
Sotto13 has a DIY-Prosecco Tray, that gives you an opportunity to be your own mixologist with prosecco and a tray of five high-quality mixers for $25 (made to share). Add it to your social brunch or ala carte with a bottle of prosecco (+40).
Brunch reservations are accepted and recommended.
